Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using WeShopCars ("Service"), operated by TPOH LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a report request or accessing your report, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
WeShopCars is a personalized used car research service. Upon completing our intake survey, we generate a custom report analyzing used vehicle options that match your stated criteria. Reports are delivered online and accessed via a unique 6-character access code.
2. Report Access and Delivery
- Reports are typically delivered within 48–72 hours of survey submission. Delivery may take up to 5 business days during high-volume periods.
- You will receive an email with your access code when your report is ready.
- Your access code allows you to view your report online at any time for up to 2 years from the delivery date.
- Access codes are personal and non-transferable. Do not share your code publicly.
3. Free Beta Tier
The first 30 reports delivered under the WeShopCars service are provided at no charge as part of our founding beta program. Beta users receive full access to their complete report, including all vehicle listings, cost breakdowns, and detailed analysis. This complimentary access is not guaranteed for future reports after the beta period concludes.
4. Paid Report Unlocks
For users who receive a report after the 30-user beta period, the following paid tiers are available:
- 1-Car Unlock — $14.99: Unlock full details (individual listings, cost breakdowns, vehicle links) for 1 selected car group.
- 3-Car Unlock — $24.99: Unlock full details for up to 3 selected car groups.
- All-Cars Unlock — $29.99: Unlock full details for all car groups in your report.
All prices are in US dollars and include applicable taxes where required. Purchases unlock access to the selected car groups within your specific report only; they do not apply to future reports.
5. Payments and Refund Policy
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
6. Accuracy and Disclaimer
WeShopCars provides research and analysis to assist your car-buying decision. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any vehicle listing, pricing estimate, or repair cost projection included in your report.
- Vehicle listings are sourced from third-party marketplaces (e.g., Cars.com, CarGurus) and may expire, change in price, or sell before you act on them.
- Cost estimates (insurance, fuel, repairs, TCO) are approximations based on national averages and publicly available data. Actual costs will vary based on location, driving record, and vehicle condition.
- Likely Immediate Repair (LIR) data is based on aggregated owner-reported complaints at specific mileage ranges and is not a substitute for a professional pre-purchase inspection.
We strongly recommend obtaining a professional pre-purchase vehicle inspection from a certified mechanic before buying any vehicle.
Our reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or mechanical advice.
7. Intellectual Property
Your report is created specifically for you and may be used for your personal car-buying decision. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publish your report (in whole or in part) without our written consent. WeShopCars retains ownership of the report format, methodology, and underlying systems.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the service or retrieve reports.
- Attempt to access reports belonging to other users.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our scoring methodology or report format for commercial purposes.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeShopCars and TPOH LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any report content, including but not limited to vehicle purchase decisions, financial loss, or mechanical failures. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report unlock in question, or $50, whichever is greater.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at steven@weshopcars.com. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any issue informally within 30 days. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, it shall be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English in the state of Minnesota, unless prohibited by applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
